Adam & Mia at Starr Space, Bushwick, NYC April 11, 2009

April 12th, 2009 at 8:31 pm

One of the hardest things to do is to write a simple honest love song. This one is about longing to be with the person who is dear to your heart. The group playing is Adam & Mia with Adam Dugas on vocal and Mia Theodoratus playing harp. The performance is from the Sweet Thunder reunion at Starr Space in Deepest Darkest Bushwick. The whole show was amazing and is what the art scene should be like in NYC.

The Return of Rococo Party: A Baroque Bash! Sat March 28, 2009

March 16th, 2009 at 8:02 pm

Adam and I are playing my favorite all-out, smashing Baroque/Rococo Night!! We will probably go on at 10:30. I am going to channel my favorite harpist Marie Antoinette, so get out your Ouija boards.

Where: Galapagos Art Space, 16 Main Street, DUMBO, Brooklyn, NYC (just one subway stop out of Manhattan)
Saturday, March 28, 9pm

The extravagance of 1770 rococo Paris meets the eclecticism of 2009 underground New York nightlife.

Think Amadeus, Marie Antoinette, the Marquis de Sade, etc… but with a thoroughly modern twist.

This 4th installment of the party will feature burlesque, aerialism, spectacles, hula hoop acrobatics, magic, juggling, baroque “makeovers”, fortune telling, live art, and live techno baroque and rococo rock music.
